If you dig hella heavy Friday night dance party sh*T, you in the right place.
Don't confuse Joker with the Batman villain of the same name. Although both wear copious amounts of purple, they have little else in common. One is a conniving prankster, & the other drops wonky, synth-laden, bass driven tracks that sonically assault yr earholes. THIS is the music that should be "up in da club", yo. It's not surprisingJoker is tight w/ fellow dubstepper & rising star, Flying Lotus. Just saw him @ Coachella & he straight ripped it. Definitely gonna be a big year for both these mugs.

There is good music, great music, & then there is I-HAVE-TO-DOWNLOAD-YOU-IMMEDIATELY music. Moss of Aura absolutely qualifies in that coveted category. Hazed out electro jamz - similar to contemporaries Washed Out & Millionyoung - but heavier w/ bigger & badder beats. Which reminds me, Washed Out, Small Black & Pictureplane @ Rickshaw Stop March 28th. Gonna be the jumpoff, sen. Now quick, listen before it's too late.
OMGZ, there has been hella good music coming out lately. I'm talking jams stacked on jams. The new Tallest Man on Earth, Radio Dept., Broken Social, Morning Benders, Strange Boys, etc etc etc. Here's a mini mix of some ultra-addictive tunes from said artists & a few more.
Josiah Wolf is the drummer & multi-instrumentalist for the lauded band WHY?. He's also a professional reindeer, in his mind. Josiah is stepping outside of his kit to release his 1st solo album "Jet Lag" on Anticon, March 2nd. It's an amalgam of folk & pop, w/ a wee dash of psyche. Check out 2 stellar tracks below. Listen & Like.
The Young Sinclairs are a band from Virginia who sound straight outta 1960...like, seriously. They play summery psychedelic pop, & they play it very, very well. Be on the lookout for the album The Songs of the Young Sinclairs soon to be released on Kindercore. If you know what's good for you, you'll take a listen.
